As stated earlier this drug belongs to a group of medicines that affect the Central Nervous System and depresses it. When the brain is suppressed it can make you drowsy and less alert thus it intends to make you sleep.

Zopliclone is described as a drug to be used for a short term to treat insomnia. Long term use is not recommended as it can be addictive with prolonged use. It is a very expensive drug. When looking on the internet it sold for around $119 for 30 tablets. Definitely not a cheap way to sleep.

There are so many warnings about taking this drug that you wonder if enduring insomnia is better than trying Zopliclone? You wonder why it is not sold in the United States. I know they are more strict than some countries on drugs being sold here but that is a big concern too. The side effects alone make me want to try more natural supplements before getting into the heavy duty sleep aids.
