It used to be that I looked forward to bed time every night.  I needed that time to unwind and let go of all the stress of the day so that I would wake up refreshed and ready to do it all over again.  After a particularly stressful time, I became one of the “one in ten” people that experience insomnia.  And let me tell you, it was not fun.

Nytol is pretty much the same thing as Benadryl.  You know how hard it is to wake up the next morning after using Benadryl?  The same sort of thing happened for me with Nytol.  It uses diphenhydramine which is common in pain relievers and antihistimines to help reduce stress and induce sleep.  They say that the effects of Nytol can last for up to 6 hours but when I woke up the next day, I felt groggy and disgusting which is one reason why I quickly turned to other products.

Diphenhydramine is used to reduce irritation, itchiness, sneezing, coughs, and runny noses.  It can help you to sleep but it also seems to cause more side effects than a lot of other products.  For example, you may notice that you feel like you need to use it to fall asleep after a little bit of time and you are less able to fall asleep on your own.

Nytol can be purchased from quite a few different places.  If you buy it at an online store like Amazon you can get it for around $20.  Other places sell it for as little as $10 so if you look around a little bit you can definitely get a good deal on Nytol.

Nytol Guarantee

Because there aren’t too many places that sell Nytol it’s not likely that you are going to get a guarantee.  However, some other places will give you a greater guarantee depending on where you buy it.  Another thing to look at is the sites that let you return the product.  Usually this means that you are not going to be able to return an opened product but some places will let you do that.  The low price probably isn’t going to be a huge hit even if it doesn’t work as well as you might like.

Nytol Conclusion

When you use Nytol you can have some potential benefits such as an improved ability to both fall asleep and to stay asleep.  But the problem is that Nytol doesn’t have the highest quality ingredients and also has the potential of causing some side effects.  Because the capsules dissolve quickly you may be able to see greater benefits and the benefits you see will be experienced faster.  The sad thing is that it doesn’t guarantee that you won’t feel drowsy or groggy in the morning.  It certainly isn’t my first choice for a sleep aid but let me know what you think about it!
